OUR STORY

Events by Laura Anne was established in February 2021. After years of planning corporate and fundraising events, I decided that it was time to jump into the world of weddings. I had no idea of the incredible journey that was in store! Within the first year of operation, we were able to partner with over a hundred couples to create a memorable day for them and their guests. I would have never been able to execute all of those beautiful moments without the support and assistance of our outstanding team. It truly takes a village to make the magic happen!

We use a consistent, proven-process for executing the perfect day while partnering together to make sure that no detail is missed and our couples couldn’t be happier.  Our team is truly our secret sauce.

Christine Mohrweiss

I love weddings because they bring everyone together in joy and celebration. I’ve held almost every wedding role, which fits my love for organized chaos and problem-solving. With a strong customer service background, I enjoy making sure everyone has a great experience. I was a competitive archer for years, and I now love traveling to visit friends around the country.

I love helping brides make their dream day come true. I have a degree in recreation management and experience directing events, running camps, and serving on PTA boards. I’m the oldest of six and enjoy lake trips, wake surfing, and volunteering in my community and at church.

I’ve played multiple sports, danced for years, can play the drums, and enjoy gaming. I also love pursuing the arts and constantly teaching myself new skills.

I love being able to see a couple’s dream become a reality. I’m a very organized person, and I like to have a schedule for just about everything. I cheered for six years, which taught me dedication and teamwork. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family or catching up on my favorite shows. 

 

Joy Stone

I love taking the stress off couples so they can enjoy their special day. With 10 years in events and a Hospitality Administration degree, I’ve seen weddings from many angles. I’m a theater enthusiast and enjoy going to shows, movies, and spending time with my husband, two-year-old, and friends. 

Kate Fleury

I love weddings for the sense of community and celebrating life with loved ones. I bring creativity, organization, and experience planning events of all kinds. I enjoy gardening, and in high school I ran a chicken egg business. In my free time, I spend time with friends, go to church, work out, and cook.

Leah Taylor

I love decor and bringing over 30 years of experience to make special days unique. Though cautious, I’ve gone skydiving, parasailing, and zip lining. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, crafting, and reading. 

Logan Kanaan

I enjoy talking to guests while bartending and making sure everyone has a great time. I’m flexible and always willing to do whatever is asked of me. I’m also a huge dinosaur buff with a passion for all things prehistoric. In my free time, I like to play video games and collect trading cards.

Scott Wortham

I love helping couples with the ceremony so they can focus on their special day. I bring skills in event organization and planning, backed by an education background. I enjoy gardening and landscaping, and I’m a big fan of the Stars, Mavs, Rangers, and Cowboys!

Shannon College

I love weddings for the joy they bring and how they unite family and friends. I’ve held nearly every wedding role, enjoy problem-solving, and have a strong customer service background. I was a competitive archer and now love traveling to visit friends.
